Traditional Japanese Food: Fermented Soy Beans

Have you heard of “natto,” or the traditional Japanese food which is made up of fermented soy beans?

I hadn’t either until I came to Chiba. It’s a popular, but very different dish than anything I had eaten before! But, because I heard it is so healthy and so cheap, little by little I began eating it. Actually, it was usually a mistake when I ordered it because I couldn’t read the menu correctly, haha… but check out my post on JapanTravel.com about how I came to like it and how other people have experienced it in Japan.
